The popular online course “Programming for beginners” will start on September 11th

 
 
 
 

Have you ever thought about trying out programming? On September 11th, an online course, „Programming for beginners“ (“Programmeerimisest maalähedaselt”) will start again. This course is suited for you, if you have no previous experience in programming, but you have a strong will to start a new exciting journey. The course is one month long and it takes about 5-6 hours a week for learning and solving the programming tasks. It will be held in Estonian only, and the participation fee is 100 euros.

 

„Programming for beginners“ is the most popular online course in the UT Institute of Computer Science and more than 12 000 people have already participated!

Microdegrees offered by the Institute of Computer Science (registration closing soon!)

 
 
 
 

The Institute of Computer Science will offer the following microdegrees in the coming autumn of the 2023/24 academic year:

Registration for the microdegrees is open for a few more days and closes on August 21st (except for the microdegree "Cloud-native application design and DevOps"). Microdegrees are an excellent way to continue and reinforce your education in manageable chunks. This summer, we've had exciting lectures and presentations at the Institute of Computer Science. One of these presentations was by our Lecturer in Health Informatics Elena Sügis at the "Delta loeng #5" event. She spoke on the subject of using artificial intelligence in medicine. The presentation is in Estonian.

 

You can also rewatch the various presentations given at the Cyber Innovation Conference, ranging from topics such as ChatGPT to Hackerspace and beyond.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Join the AIRE club and training events in Narva on October 2nd-3rd

 
 
 
 

The consortium AI and Robotics Estonia is holding a AIRE club event and training seminar on the subject of technologies in the industrial sector of the future. If your company is in the production sector, this is a can't miss event! It features scientists and lecturers from the Institute of Computer Science as well as other industry people to network with.
